Vice President of Finance & Strategy

Responsibilities:

Vice President of Finance & Strategy

  • Direct and coordinate the development and execution of the strategic plan at each Business Line.
  • Partner with Business Line Leaders to develop comprehensive five-year business plans.
  • Work with the Finance & Accounting team to develop a five-year, 3-statement financial model by Business Line.
  • Recommend benchmarks for measuring the KPIs, both financial and operating, as well as linking KPIs to the financial results.
  • Analyze financial and operating results vs. the strategic plan and interact with Business Line leaders to ensure they remain on track.
  • Motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects.
  • Identifies new opportunities that align with business priorities. Ability to understand desired future state while acknowledging current business limitations.
  • Ensures alignment and effective implementation of strategic initiatives through effective organizational design and efficient planning.

Qualifications

Requirements

  • Master s Degree in Business from a Top Tier school, with a concentration in Finance and/or Accounting.
  • Proven experience in a mid- to senior-level finance or accounting position, as well as work experience in corporate banking or investment banking experience.
  • Five (5) to Ten (10) years experience in structuring and closing mergers, acquisitions and joint ventures.
  • Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
  • Experience taking cost out of businesses, executing on process improvement.
  • Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems.
  • Experience working with private equity groups and understanding the needs of financial sponsors.
  • Ability to work with the most senior levels of management, as well as board reporting experience.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
